JayDoc is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization within The Kansas University Endowment Association, the official fundraising and fund-management organization for all KU endeavors. Donations made to JayDoc through the KU Endowment Association may be tax-deductible.

Funded entirely by private donations and local grant agencies, JayDoc has received grants from the Health Care Foundation, The REACH Foundation, Wyandotte Health Foundation, and the Association of American Medical Colleges. Clinic and lab spaces are provided at a generously reduced rent by the Southwest Boulevard Family Health Care Clinic.
